Lindstrom for rare festival date at The Big Chill

The DJ will be joined by label mate Kim Hiorthroy, while infamous label DFA will showcase a trio of talent
including The Juan Maclean and LCD Soundsystem’s Tim Goldsworthy and Tim Sweeney.
Electro funk legend Greg Wilson has also been
confirmed alongside Annie Nightingale, Metro Area, Massive Attack’s Daddy G, Queen Bee and mash-up maestro Mr Benn.
The Nextmen and MC Wrec, Chrome Hoof and Bass Clef have also been announced alongside
Mali’s brilliant blind duo Amadou And Mariam, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, James
Yuill, Kathryn Williams and Joana And The Wolf.
Speaking about the latest
additions, festival organiser Katrina Larkin said: “This year’s Chillers can look forward
to the most ground breaking mix of DJ and live acts yet. Today’s news is just the beginning of what will be a busy few
weeks for Big Chill announcements.”
Orbital, Basement Jaxx, David
Byrne and Alice Russell are among the acts set to appear at the event, with many more to be announced.

The Big Chill 2009 will take place at Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire from 7-9 August.
