Road To V competition voting has started
Fans can vote for the bands they want in the semis

Registered users will pick two acts that they think should go through and perform with Just Jack and The Charlatans
at next month’s Great Escape festival.
All fans need to do is log in, visit the artist’s
profile page and click the ‘Vote for us!’ button.

The Charlatans and Just Jack will review the entries
themselves as well and each select four acts they’d like to see join them onstage.
The final ten will all
appear, with their mentors, on the Road to V TV series on Virgin1 which begins on Friday 3 April
and airs on every first Friday of the month until August.
After The Great Escape performances, the mentors will
whittle the finalists down to just three each. From there, it’s up to the Road to V fans and voters to decide which
of the six finalists will go on to win Road to V 2009, and open V Festival in August.
Previous Road To V winners include Young Knives (who went on to receive a Mercury Award nomination
in 2007) and Bombay Bicycle Club (who signed a deal with Island Records in 2008).

You’ll be kept up to date with all the
latest Road to V news, as well as being able to watch exclusive videos. Fans will also be able to download ringtones and tracks
