Placebo, The Prodigy for Paleo Festival Nyon

Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand, dance vegan Moby and Kasier Chiefs have already been announced for the
six-day event along with Santigold, Snow Patrol, The Ting Tings and White
Lies.
The Gossip, TV On The Radio and ex-Libertine Peter Doherty
have also been announced for the Swiss event along with Cold War Kids, Tracy Chapman and
Amy MacDonald also set to perform.
Paleo Festival Nyon 2009 will take place at Route de Saint-Cergue, Switzerland from
21-26 July.
The festival is one of Switzerland's biggest music events attracting around 220,000
revellers in total each year. The event regularly sells out as festival-goers watch the music unfold across six stages over
six days.
Rock, pop, world-music, hip hop and reggae all get a look in but there is plenty of other entertainment
ranging from street theatre to a children's area.
Tickets go on sale at midday next Wednesday
(22 April). A link will appear on the site when they are available.
