Tim Burgess and Co have been confirmed for next month’s event alongside influential post punk group Gang Of Four, Just Jack
and Mystery Jets.
Scotland’s Idlewild,
brass heavy lads The Rumble Strips and Titus Andronicus will also appear at the three-day event.
Kasabian, Noah And The Whale and British Sea Power are among the
big names set to perform with Esser, Metronomy, Passion Pit and many more
confirmed as well.

The Great Escape
2009 will take place at various venues around Brighton, West Sussex from 14-16 May.
Tickets are already on sale priced at £45 for a festival wristband, which will give festival-goers
access to all venues, subject to capacity.

The festival is back for its fourth year
with 300 of the world’s best new bands set to rock 34 venues over the weekend.
