The Stranglers and more for Guilfest 2009
Will Young and The King Blues also set for Stoke Park

The punk rockers, famed for hits like ‘Peaches’ and ‘Golden Brown’, will join headliners Motorhead
on the main stage on the Friday (10 July).
Pop Idol winner Will Young has also
been confirmed, performing on the second stage on the Sunday (13 July), while rising band The King Blues will appear in the Rocksound Rock Cave on the same day.
Today’s
announcements join headliners Brian Wilson and Happy Mondays as well as Nouvelle
Vague, Imelda May, Eat Static, The Charlatans, Athlete
and Bob Marley’s band The Wailers.
More acts are expected to be announced in the coming
weeks.
Guilfest 2009 will take place at Stoke
Park, Guilford in Surrey from 10-12 July.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £110
for a weekend camping pass with children weekend tickets, day and campervan passes available too.

The festival will have over 200 acts performing over
the three days with comedy, children's entertainment and street theatre as prominent as the music. The family-friendly
event also has an extensive children’s area: The KidZone.
Guilfest won the Best Family Festival back in 2006.
