Ex Fugees front-woman Lauryn Hill, blues guitarist BB King and British pop princess Lily Allen are but three of the main names announced for the legendary festival which spans a total of 16 days.

Black Eyed Peas, Grace Jones, Bloc Party and Jeff Beck are set to join those three in the Auditorium Stravinksi and Miles Davis Hall, the festival’s two major venues.

The likes of Alice Cooper, Marianne Faithfull, Donna Summer, Seal and Herbie Hancock & Lang Lang represent the old guard alongside a number of newer festival favourites in Simian Mobile Disco, Birdy Nam Nam and Antony & The Johnsons.

As reported on VF Europe last week Chickenfoot, the brand new rock outfit comprised of Joe Satriani, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and two ex Van Halen members, takes a top slot on the first Wednesday with back up from Steely Dan and Dave Matthews Band.

Also announced this morning are Klaxons, Die Arzte, Emily Loizeau and Underworld who are set to be joined by Yuksek, Solomon Burke, Ray Parker JR and many many more.
