Europe head to Bloodstock
Swedish rockers headline on the Sunday

The melodic rock outfit, revered for their infamous album ‘The Final Countdown’ are set to play their only
UK show of the summer in order to see out the hard hitting weekend.
Frontman Joe Tempest had this to say about
the exclusive appearance: “RAAAAWWWWKKK! It's with great pleasure we will be returning to the UK this summer.
We've just finished recording our 8th studio album Last Look At Eden. Can't wait to blast out some new tunes and some
Europe classics. See you at
Bloodstock festival on the 16th of August.”

as headliners for the event which also features the likes of Cradle
Of Filth, Satyricon, The Haunted and many more.

Bloodstock Open Air 2009 will take place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire
from 14-16 August.
The event, which celebrates its fifth birthday this year, is expecting 7,500
festival-goers to attend. The festival boasts two stages of live music, a market, bars, camping, metal DJs, a signing tents
as well as the now infamous metal karaoke.
Tickets are on sale priced at £99.95 for an adult
weekend camping ticket. Other prices and passes are available.
