The Vegas quartet is set to take the top spot on the Hyde Park stage on Friday 26 June as the festival
extends to a three day event.
Indie rockers The Kooks
were also announced as main support for The Killers on
what promises to be another epic day in London’s Hyde Park.
John Probyn, Chief Operating
Officer at Live Nation, organisers of the event had this to say about the new announcements: “Going to 3 days was
a big step for us and Hard Rock, and then The Killers came along and in my book, that’s a no brainer. We are committed to bringing great
music to the heart of London every summer and with such an amazing line up this year, there is something for everyone.”
Neil Young is down to headline on the Saturday with
heavyweight back-up from the likes of Fleet Foxes, Ben Harper & Relentless
7, Seasick Steve, The Pretenders and more yet to be announced.
Bruce Springsteen tops the bill on the Sunday with Dave Matthews Band, The
Gaslight Anthem and a full support line-up which is yet to be confirmed.
The event will now take place
from 26 – 28 June.
Passes for the Springsteen day have sold out. Tickets for the two other
