Tony Christie to play Glastonbury
'Amarillo' singer takes Sunday Pyramid slot

The veteran has snapped up one of the Sunday afternoon slots on the Pyramid Stage, following in the footsteps of such
legends as Neil Diamond, James Brown, Brian Wilson and Dame Shirley Bassey.
The Worthy Farm masses are set to
be treated to a few of his newer tracks as well as a couple of timeless classics as he joins golden oldies Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen
on the bill.
Blur are due to make a much anticipated comeback at the five day event with the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Lily Allen and Bon Iver also confirmed.

Glastonbury
Festival 2009 will take place in Pilton, Somerset from 24 – 28 June.
The
132,000 tickets for the event sold out in February although a limited number of cancelled tickets will go on sale on 5 April.
