Noah And The Whale for The Great Escape
Patrick Wolf, Hockey and more added to Brighton bill

The anti-folk troupe will be joined by Patrick Wolf and
Hockey at the Brighton event as well as Brakes, Metric, Sky Larkin and Juliette Lewis’ new band Juliette And The New Romantics.
Peggy Sue, indie poppers Hatcham Social and Rosie
and The Goldbug have also been confirmed today alongside Manchester trio We Have Band and Baddies.
Broken Records, I Blame Coco, Marnie Stern, Soap
And Skin, Sad Day for Puppets and Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson are also set to perform at the
three-day bash as well as The Phantom Band, Times New Viking, Mechanical Bride
and Roses King Castle, who feature Adam Ficek from Babyshambles.
Charlie ASH,
80z Kidz, Gable, De De Mouse, TV Off and Planet Earth
have also been added to the bill along with Dag for Dag, Hoodlums, Panama Kings,
The Balky Mule and Alan Pownall.
Organisers have also confirmed that Turbowolf,
Jakko and Jay, Dan Mangan, The Males, Mothlite, Bang
Bang Eche and Slow Club will play live with live sets also confirmed for Video Nasties,
Giantess, Solid Gold, The Kilimanjaro Dark Jazz Ensemble, Shining,
and The Bewitched Hands On Top Of Our Heads.
Kasabian, The Maccabees,
British Sea Power and many more will also take part.

The Great Escape 2009 will take place at various venues around Brighton, West Sussex
from 14-16 May.
Tickets are already on sale priced at £39.50 for
a festival wristband, which will give festival-goers access to all venues, subject to capacity.

The festival is back for its fourth year with
