The former Soundgarden and Audioslave man will be joined by power ballad boys Journey,
Black Stone Cherry and Lacuna Coil.
Other names announced today include Skin, Karma
To Burn, Clutch and Architects as well as Parkway Drive and Down.
Faith No More, Slipknot and Def Leppard will headline the rock
and metal festival with The Prodigy, Pendulum, ZZ Top, Korn
and many more already confirmed.

Download Festival 2009 will take place at Donington Park, Castle Donington from 12-14
June.
