Blood Red Shoes added to 2000 Trees Festival

The will be joined at the emerging indie act Red Light Company,
Attack! Attack!, Godsized and Jay
Jay Pistolet as well as Charlie Barnes and Keyboard Choir.
Other
names announced today include Napoleon IIIrd, Gloria Cycles, Patti Plinko And Her
Boy, Papa's In Love and Silverfall.
They all join headliners British
Sea Power, Fightstar and Frank Turner with Wild Beasts, Rolo
Tomassi and many more already announced.

Speaking about today’s confirmations festival organiser James
Scarlett said: "We are delighted to confirm Red Light Company, Blood Red Shoes and the many more acts who will be
performing at this summer’s 2000trees festival.
“We have enjoyed watching every one of them perform on stage,
to ensure we give a platform to the best live bands and bring together an eclectic mix of musical talent."
2000 Trees Festival 2009 will take place
at Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham from 17-18 July.
Tickets for the event, which
sold out last year, are on sale now priced at £47, with 500 early entry passes available for an extra
£7, which will allow festival-goers in on 16 July for a ‘Special Guests Night’ with a prime
camping spot.

The festival is an intimate gathering of grass roots bands and some of music's bigger names. Around 60 bands and
DJs are handpicked to perform across three stages over the weekend in front of 2,000 festival goers.
Bosses behind
the event promote green issues and follow an alternative ethical ethos making revellers aware on the need to conserve energy
and reduce their carbon footprint.
