Ebony Bones will be taking her Tropicana pop to the
north east of England as well as local bands Detroit Social
Club and Little Comet.
Speaking about booking The Human League, festival director Jim Mawdsley said: "The Human League are a major coup for us and remain hugely relevant to
today’s music scene. Many of the acts playing Evolution this year have been influenced by them and will be proud
to be sharing the same stage.
"We're also thrilled to have two additional local bands joining Stockton
band The Chapman Family on the bill – all three are fast gaining national and international acclaim and it’s great
that we can showcase their talents here in the region."
The Wombats and Dizzee
Rascal headline the two-day festival with Boys Noize, Mystery Jets, The
View, The Maccabees and more set to perform.
Organisers have also announced the day-by-day
and stage breakdowns.
