Nine Inch Nails and more for St.Gallen

Switzerland Switzerland | 11 March 2009

Nine Inch Nails and Mando Diao have been confirmed as bill toppers for the Swiss giant.

Proceedings will kick off on Friday 26 July with Peter Fox, Cold War Kids and The Flaming Lips taking to the lime-light as big guns with Lovebugs, The Gaslight Anthem and Get Well Soon backing them up.

An already tasty first day will be capped, after much anticipation, with the announcement of a special headliner over the forthcoming weeks.

Industrial godfathers NIN will be at helm on the Saturday with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Jan Delay and Disko No1, Farin Urlaub Racing Team and Swiss favourite Stress also lining up.

Biffy Clyro, Patent Ochsner and Sophie Hunger are set to play alongside them as are Polarkreis 18, Gimma and Nneka.

On the final day 30,000 revellers will be treated to the garage rock of Mando Diao who are set to lead the action alongside Editors and The Streets.

The Sounds, Phenomden and 2raumwohnung are also down to feature and will be joined by The Aggrolites and Junes.

More artists have also been confirmed for a line-up that includes a traditionally eclectic mix of genres and artists giving equal emphasis to both Swiss and international talent.
