The contest, which is now into its sixth year, will search for the very best emerging talent
to fill two slots at this August's V Festival.
The competition is open until Sunday
12 April.
Ten lucky finalists will also get mentored, and play alongside, two big acts at The
Great Escape festival as part of the live stage of the competition.
The public will choose the first two
finalists before the two artist mentors handpick four acts each for the final.
After a live show, which will be
filmed and broadcast on Virgin 1, the public will ultimately select the two acts they want to open this year's
V Festivals.
Previous winners of the competition include Young Knives, Johnny Foreigner
and The Rebs.
For videos, the organisers can accept: AVI, ASF, MOV, WMV and MPEG files, in
either 16:9 or 4:9 ratio.
