Michael Moore for Glastonbury 2003!

The Left
Field is the newest area on the Glasto site and kicked off last year but promises to be back "bigger, better and
angrier" for 2003. It will kick off on the Thursday night in anti-Nazi style with a set from Love Music Hate Racism.
Other confirmed
Left Fielders this year are veteran Labour politician Tony Benn and his musical accomplice Roy Bailey,
hard-hitting comics Mark Thomas, Mark Steel and Jeremy Hardy, Glasto stalwart
Billy Bragg and a whole stack of other names to be announced. There will also be a tribute night to the late
Joe Strummer supported by the Fire Brigades Union.
Geoff
Martin, union organiser and Left Field promoter, said:
"Anyone who seriously thinks that young people aren't interested in politics should get over to the Left Field at Glastonbury for the last weekend in June and we'll nail that lie before their very eyes."
