Cold War Kids and more for Stag And Dagger

Cold War Kids are among a slew first names announced for this year's Stag And Dagger festival.

The Mae Shi, Abe Vigoda, Andrew Weatherall and Maps will also appear at the one wristband, multi-venue festival alongside James Yuill, Rusko, N-Type, Wild Beasts, Filthy Dukes and Marina And the Diamonds.

One of Virtual Festivals' picks for 2009 Dan Black has also been confirmed along with Phantom Band, Magistrates (DJ Set), Soy Un Caballo, Tomb Crew and We Have Band.

Other names confirmed today include Wolf Gang, Plugs, Ex Lovers, Let's Wrestle and Tubelord as well as The Virgin Passages, Male Bonding, Arch M, Young Turks, Young And Lost, Pure Groove and Casper.

After the success of its first event last year, Stag And Dagger is set to return to various venues around Shoreditch and Hoxton in London's East End again as well as extending to three days to take in Glasgow and Leeds too.

Stag And Dagger 2009 will take place in London (21 May), Leeds (22 May) and Glasgow (23 May).

Tickets are on sale now priced at £10 per day ticket per city.

One wristband will give access to all venues, subject to capacity.
