The rapper, famed for tracks like 'Fix Up Look Sharp' will be joined by Liverpudlian favourites The Zutons, indie boys Mystery Jets
and Friendly Fires.
New Zealand chanteuse
Ladyhawke is also set to play the Cornwall event alongside
The Whip, Noisettes, Cuban Brothers
and emerging indie talent Red Light Company.
Ebony Bones, Dan Black, Esser and Delphic have
also been announced today along with Flashguns, Zarif, Rodney Brannigan,
Alessi’s Ark, Ou Est Swimming Pool?, The Hitchcock Rules, Vices
and Yearner Babies.
8 Fold, Spires, Three Seeds In Paris,
Rokshan, Fre3 Peace and The Dirty Disco will all also play live, while
DJ Yoda, Scratch Perverts, Krafty Kuts, Caspa And Rusko and
The Count And Siden will all DJ.
Chase And Status will play with help from Rage,
Takura and Plan B, with organisers also announcing that Craze And Klever, Freestylers,
Jack Beats and Urban Knights will also DJ.
Other confirmations today include
a live show from Foreign Beggars as well as Radioactive Man, Utah Jazz,
TRG, Marc Roberts, MC Wrec and Dynamite MC.
Beach Break Live 2009 is set to move site this summer
to an unconfirmed north Cornwall venue from 16-19 June.
Tickets
are on sale now priced at £84 for a four-day pass, but festival-goers are able to secure a pass for
a £30 deposit.

Away from the music the festival offers plenty of nonsense including the infamous
Mighty Cornish Goblet which involves students taking part in sports like fruit golf, sock wrestling and binocular football
for the chance to take the Goblet back to their Uni.
Organisers have also announced the world’s biggest pyjama
party, a silent disco, dance offs, workshops, graffiti artists, art auctions and paint fights.
Festival chiefs
have also revealed that almost all alcoholic drinks will be priced a £2.50, so festival-goers can save even more money.

Students?
Beach Break keep a limited number of tickets aside for non students. If you have friends that are students
or have recently graduated who do not have a valid UCAS card you can still purchase a ticket. You must be over 18 and ID will
be required. To purchase just select ‘A non student’ on the ‘Find you university’ drop down list.
