Scottish band added to Austrian festival line-up

The Scottish garage rockers join an ever-growing bill that already boasts Fatboy Slim, Biffy Clyro, Dizzee Rascal, Grandmaster Flash, Plump DJs and many more.

Snowbombing 2009 will take place at Mayrhofen, Austria from 29 March to 4 April with 5,000 festival-goers expected to help celebrate its tenth anniversary.

Performances take place at various venues throughout the town with DJs also playing at bars and restaurants on the slopes throughout the day.

There's also an arctic disco, a performance from a special guest in an Alpine forest clearing and a street party.

Tickets range from £249 to £379 for 6 nights accommodation plus an event wristband.
