Bruce Springsteen to headline Glastonbury
The Boss to the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday

The American star, who is nicknamed The Boss, will make his first UK festival appearance when he headlines the event's
Pyramid Stage on Saturday 27 June.
Speaking about the announcement, organiser Michael
Eavis said: "I'm so pleased that Bruce Springsteen has agreed to come to Worthy Farm for the first time.
He's one of the all-time rock legends. I'm confident that this will be one of our best shows ever."
Neil Young and Blur are widely rumoured to be the remaining headliners, though nothing
has been officially confirmed as yet.

Glastonbury Festival 2009 will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton in Somerset
from 24-28 June.
Tickets for the event have sold out but there will be a limited number of returned
tickets on sale from 5 April, but those wishing to buy returns must register by 31 March.

The festival won the Best UK Major Award at last year's 2008 UK Festival Awards.
