The London event, which picked up Best Medium Festival at last year's UK Festival Awards, will also
feature Virtual Festivals' pick for 2009 Florence and The Machine and dance group Simian
Mobile Disco.
New Zealand exports Fat Freddy's Drop and Ladyhawke
will also be appearing at the Weekender, as well as the event's founders Groove Armada.
Festival regulars secretsundaze
and Horse Meat Disco have also been confirmed for
slots this summer.
Lovebox Weekender 2009
will take place at Victoria Park, Hackney in London from 18-19 July.
Early bird
tickets have sold out, but general sale passes are expected to go on sale in the coming months.
