Oasis and Kings of Leon for Rock Werchter

Slew of big names are added to the line-up

A flurry of big names are set to join the two bands including Elbow, Amy Macdonald and The Street, as well as indie rockers Block Party and Franz Ferdinand.

On a heavier note American metallers Mastodon have been added to the bill as have Limp Bizkit, whose five original members return to the limelight this summer.

Dave Matthews Band was the last big name to be announced today, joining Metallica, Placebo, The Killers and Coldplay who were previously confirmed.

Rock Werchter will take place just outside the small village of Werchter from 2 – 5 July. Tickets go on sale on 14 February. Single tickets will cost €75 and full weekend passes will be going for €169. Separate camping tickets will be available for €17.

Rock Werchter 2009 tickets will be available here from Saturday 14 Feb.
