Tom Jones wants to play Glastonbury
'Sex Bomb' singer would "love" to play again

12 February 2009
The 'Sex Bomb' singer, who last played the Somerset event in 1992 has revaled that he'd "love" to return
to Worthy Farm.
Speaking to The London Paper, Jones said: "I'd love to perform there
again and if the timing was right, I'd be there. I last appeared at Glastonbury in the early '90s and it was fantastic.
Even the weather was good. The sun was shining and I had a ball.
"I remember two guys in the crowd had this
big banner up on a pole and it just said, 'Tom fucking Jones'. I thought it would make a great T-shirt."
The Welsh crooner would fit the bill in the traditional Sunday afternoon slot for iconic stars, which has included Leonard
Cohen, Shirley Bassey and Brian Wilson in recent years.
Other names
rumoured to be performing the UK's Best Major Festival includes Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen,
Neil Young and Blur.
