Red List Live 2009 will take place in Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, Kent from 19-21 June.

It is a charity music festival hoping to raise £100,000 for threatened animals in its first year.

Talking about the festival, Red List Live Festival Director Eddie Hall said: "It is a fact that some of the worlds most beautiful animals are also the most endangered. Red List Live will be a fun event for a serious cause - we want to help protect and celebrate these amazing creatures."

The 15,000 capacity venue will play host to indie rockers The Undertones, The White Rose Movement, The Wedding Present and many more with over 200 acts yet to be announced.

Poets, visual artists and performers play the family-friendly festival, which will have a designated family zone and onsite pub. The nearby animal park will also be open to festival-goers.

Early Bird Adult Weekend Tickets are on sale now at £99. Click here to buy Red List Live passes.

£5 from each weekend pass and 50% of the event’s profits will go to the charities. It will also raise awareness of the IUCN's Red List of Threatened Species.
