Masked rockers Slipknot will return to the heavy rock festival
for a third time, headlining the main stage on the Saturday (13 June) night.
Motley Crue are set to play Donington for the second time in three years, while Korn and Dragonforce
will also appear - both names were previously reported as targets by organiser Andy Copping.
Pendulum will be back at the event after wowing crowds in 2008 along
with Devildriver.

Download Festival 2009 will take place at Donington Park, Castle Donington in
Leicestershire from 12-14 June.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale this Friday (13
February) priced at £135 for an early bird camping pass.
