Arctic Monkeys to headline Lowlands

Basement Jaxx, Bon Iver will also play Holland

Arctic Monkeys are set to headline this year's Lowlands festival in the Netherlands.

The Sheffield four-piece will be joined by party starters Basement Jaxx and the critically acclaimed singer songwriter Bon Iver.

The huge Dutch festival will have eight stages pf music and over 200 live acts and DJs performing as well as comedy, roaming street-theatre and a diverse selection of visual art installations.

Lowlands 2009 will take place at Biddinghuizen in the Netherlands from 21-23 August.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday (7 February)

60,000 festival-goers are expected to attend this year's event.
