Blur to headline Oxegen and T In The Park
The Britpopers announce their first 2009 festivals

The recently reformed Britpop group join Kings Of Leon and Snow Patrol, who will top the
bill at both festivals.
Damon Albarn and Co will join Bloc Party, Katy Perry and
The Script at Oxegen, which was voted the Best European Festival at last
year's UK Festival Awards.

The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer Katy Perry will also perform at
T In The Park but she is the only other name confirmed aside from the headliners.
Traditionally
both festivals share the same line-up.
Oxegen 2009 will take place at Punchestown Racecourse,
County Kildare from 10-12 July.
Tickets go on general release on Friday 6 March
at 8am. However those registered on the official website can take advantage of an exclusive pre-sale from
Wednesday 25 February.

T In The
Park 2009 will take place at Balado, Kinross-shire in Scotland from 10-12 July.
General tickets are yet to go on sale.
