Kings Of Leon to play Oxegen Festival

The Killers, Snow Patrol to headline as well

The band, voted Best Headline Act at the UK Festival Awards 2008, will play the Irish event again after Oxegen fans voted for them to appear on the official festival website.

The Killers and Snow Patrol will also headline the festival, which is usually a good indicator of the bands set to top the bill at T In The Park, as the events usually share line-ups.

It also looks like organisers are looking to hold on to the title of Best European Festival this year after they vowed to continue booking bands that the fans want to see.

Last year fans picked R.E.M., Rage Against The Machine, Amy Winehouse, The Verve and more.

Oxegen 2009 will take place at Punchestown Racecourse, County Kildare from 10-12 July.

Tickets are already on sale priced at €224.50 for a three-day pass, including booking fee and camping.
