Hop Farm Festival extends and expands

To a three-day festival with a 53,000 capacity

The Hop Farm Festival has extended to three-days and expanded its capacity to 53,000.

The event, which began as a one-day event in 2008, will return to Hop Farm in Kent from 3-5 July after councillors granted organisers a license.

Last year Neil Young, Primal Scream and Guillemots all performed. No names have been confirmed yet for this year's event.

Bosses want to take the festival back to basics with no branding or sponsorship.

There are currently no tickets on sale.
