Metal 2 The Masses winners to play festival

Metal 2 The Masses will pick acts to play the festival's Unsigned Stage.

Bands deemed good enough will play the festival to stand the chance to win prize giveaways as well as an opportunity to work with Spinefarm Records, who will take an active role in working with any act that shows potential.

Retribution - Leicester (Finals Date May 2nd)
Yardbirds - Grimsby (Finals Date May 9th)
Rockhouse - Derby (Finals Date May 16th)
Lounge Bar - Hants (Finals Date May 29th)
Riffs Bar - Swindon (Finals Date May 30th)
Rock Matrix - London (Finals Date May 31st)
The Queens Hall - Nuneaton (Finals Date July 4th)
The Rosetta Bar - Belfast (Finals Date July 18th)
Grand Central - Manchester (Finals Date July 18th)

Bloodstock Open Air 2009 will take place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire from 14-16 August and tickets are already on sale priced at £99.95 for a weekend camping pass.
