Reading & Leeds warn of fake ticket sites

Organisers urge fans not to buy from unofficial sources

Fans of Reading and Leeds Festivals are being urged not to buy tickets from fake websites.

Organisers are warning festival-goers that www.readingfestival2009.com and www.leedsfestival2009.com are both unofficial Internet sites that have no access to passes for this year's events.

Tickets for both festivals, as well as their line-ups, will be announced in due course.

Festival Republic, who run the rock weekends, are advising fans to only buy passes from their official links:

Reading Festival 2009 will take place at Little John's Farm, Reading and Leeds Festival 2009 will be held at Bramham Park, Leeds. Both run from 28-30 August and share the same line-up.
