Madonna to play Glastonbury Festival?
Superstar is the latest name on the rumour mill

05 January 2009
The recently divorced diva is apparently worried that people are turning against her after her latest song 'Miles Away',
was her lowest charting single of her career.
According to The Mirror, Madge is lining up several
gigs to woo fans, which could include Glastonbury.
A source told the paper: "It's
a strange decision. Madonna's only just finished her deal with Warners and hasn't been in the studio yet so there
is no new material to promote.
"After such a gruelling year, surely it would be better if she relaxed with
her family and laid low for a while?
"Then she could come back next year with new material and everyone gagging
for a tour. The thing with Madonna
is she can't bear to be lazing about."
Glastonbury Festival 2009 will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton in Somerset
from 24-28 June with Blur, Bruce Springsteen and Franz Ferdinand
all rumoured to be appearing.
