Regina Spektor and more for Hultsfred

Eight artists confirmed and tickets now available

The Russian-born, US anti-folk singer is among the first eight acts confirmed for Hultsfred 2009.

She will be joined by UK pop enchanters The Heart Strings and a host of Swedish talent represented by Lars Winnerback x4, Sonic Syndicate and Timbuktu.

They will also be joined by Anna Ternheim, Markus Krunegard and Maia Hirasawa as four day passes go on sale for €120 (including camping), a price which will be on offer until the end of December.

In January this price will rise to €130 as the festival makes a stance against the credit crunch and vows not to exceed last year’s €150 price tag.

The small town of Hultsfred, south-eastern Sweden will host the festival from 8 – 11 July. International flights run through Skavsta/Nyköping Airport while rail and bus links give you access from all over the country.
