Glastonbury film to premiere in London

The film – shot entirely during this years Glastonbury Festival – features exclusive live content from a wide variety of artists including The Automatic, Carl Barat from Dirty Pretty Things, British Sea Power, Reverend and the Makers, the Levellers, Alabama 3, The Beat and Billy Bragg all cut in with campaigning content from organisations like Rock Against Racism, Miscarriages of Justice, Anti Slavery International and Jail Guitar Doors.
The Left Field at Glastonbury has grown in just seven years from being a drum riser in the corner of a beer tent to the biggest covered stage at the Festival and is supported by GMB, UNISON, RMT, PCS and the FBU.
The London film premiere will also feature special solo slots from some of the talent showcased at this years Glastonbury Festival.
Geoff Martin, Glastonbury Left Field Director, said: “Our job was to take trade unionism to Glastonbury, shove big business to one side and plant a flag in the mud for the international campaign for economic and social justice.

Glastonbury Left Field London Movie Premiere takes place on Thursday
4th December, at the Bread and Roses pub, 68 Clapham Manor St, London SW4 6DZ from 7.30pm
