20,000 weekend passes, made available to say thank you to the fans for voting the festival Best Line-Up
at the UK Festival Awards, were snapped up in record time.
But fans will still be able to book
their place at the Balado three-day festival when the majority of tickets go on sale next year.
Rumours as to who
will be playing include The Killers, Keane, Coldplay and The
Cure. But one band who definitely won't be there in 2009 are AC/DC, after organisers were forced
to deny claims by a newspaper saying a deal was already done.
The Sun once again proved wide of the mark with their
music predictions after claiming the reformed rocker would headline.
Best keep it here for the best breaking line
up stories. So far we've claimed Kings Of Leon for Reading and Leeds and Oasis
for Isle Of Wight Festival before anyone else. Stay posted.
