Jay-Z to support Coldplay at trio of UK shows

But Chris Martin and Co fail to book Knebworth concert

Jay-Z has been announced as the support act for Coldplay when the band plays three shows next September.

As previously reported, Chris Martin and Co were set to perform at Knebworth House but plans fell through due to scheduling issues.

Instead they will play Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester on 12 September, Hamden Park, Glasgow on 16 September and Wembley Stadium, London on 19 September.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (28 November) at 9.30am priced at £55 each and will be available HERE.

Coldplay are also rumoured to be appearing at V Festival and Glastonbury Festival next year.
