Early bird tickets for Montreux Jazz Festival have gone on sale.

An All Music Pass for the Swiss event, which will guarantee access to all of the festival's shows are priced at CHF 1500.

Tickets are also available as Buy And Choose schemes, which grants access to concerts on the day of the ticket holder's choice or Easy Day Pass, which allows festival-goers to choose shows from both concert halls.

Montreux Jazz Festival 2009 will take place at Miles Davies Hall and Auditorium Stravinski, Montreux from 3-18 July.

The festival has been running for over forty years housing the likes of Ray Charles, David Bowie, Prince and N*E*R*D in the past.

There will still be a wide range of jazz to watch, with many shows free to attend. There will also be art and craft stalls to peruse doing the festival.

Early bird ticket offer ends 19 December.
