Billy Bragg to play Big Session Festival
Oysterband, Peatbog Faeries and more

Peatbog Faeries and festival creators Oysterband will join the English song-writing stalwart at the Leicester
event too.
Adrian Edmondson And The Bad Shepards, Blyth Power, Braebach
and Ella Edmondson are also set to perform at the three-day festival alongside Eliza Carthy Band
and Edward II.
Kathryn Tickell Band and The Shee have also been
confirmed for the festival, which will take place at De Montfort Hall, Leicester from 19-21 June.

Festival 2009 are on sale already priced at £65 for the weekend with day tickets also
available.

The festival will celebrate its fifth birthday next year with a wide selection of folk and
roots acts over three stages. There will also be lunchtime and impromptu sessions over the weekend as well as Ceilidh, children’s
activities, food stalls and bars.
