Public Enemy to play Rhythm & Vine Festival
Rappers will bring in New Zealand New Year

The rap troupe will be joined by Franz Ferdinand,
The Kooks, Santogold and Ladyhawke
at the New Year's Eve event, which is held at Waiohika Estate, the first place where the sun will rise
in 2009.
Carl Cox, Jamie Lidell,
A-Trak and Digitalism will also appear at the three-day festival alongside Adam
Freeland, Late Of The Pier, Mystery Jets and Cut Copy.
16,000 fans are expected to watch the likes of Die! Die! Die!, The Black Seeds, The
