Jay-Z and more for Reading & Leeds!

JAY-Z, LOSTPROPHETS, JUNIOR SENIOR, THE USED and FINCH have all been confirmed for the Main Stage at the CARLING WEEKEND: READING AND LEEDS festivals...

Jay-Z will play before Placebo on the Main Stage on the Friday At Reading (August 22) and Saturday in Leeds (23). Finch will also play the same stage on the same day.

Junior Senior will appear on the night that Blur headline, playing before The Libertines on a bill that also includes The Streets, White Stripes and Doves (August 23: Reading; August 24: Leeds).

Lostprophets, who have spent much of this year working on a new album, will play their only UK shows this summer at Reading on the Sunday (August 24), which opens the event in Leeds (August 22). The other addition to the Main Stage that day is The Used. Metallica, System Of A Down, Primal Scream and Courtney Love will join them, as previously announced.

This year's Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals will take place between Friday, August 22 and Sunday, August 24 at Temple Newsam in Leeds and Richfield Avenue in Reading, subject to licence. Tickets are on sale now, from the Virtual Festivals Ticket Shop.
