Isle Of Wight membership scheme opens
United Kingdom | |
02 October 2008
The membership scheme, which was introduced last year, will allow members to buy two camping or non-camping tickets during
a reserved sale period for the 2009 and 2010 festivals.
Those who sign up to Festival First will
also have their own entrance to the festival site, giving them easier access to the event than standard ticket holders.
A family version of the membership scheme has also been introduced which allows each member to buy two adult and up
to three child passes.
Festival First membership is available to purchase until Monday 6 October
at 8pm priced at £50 for a single membership or £75 for a family
membership.

Isle Of Wight Festival 2009 will take place at Seaclose Park, Newport
from 12-14 June. The event has sold out since 2006, is expected to do the same this year.
Early
rumours are suggesting Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay as headliners for the event next year.
Virtual
Festivals has also heard that Paul Weller was approached to reform The Jam for the
festival, but given Weller's refusal to get the group back together in the past, don't hedge your bets!
