Pete and the Pirates join BBC Electric Proms

Acts announced for BBC Introducing night

Pete and the Pirates will head up the BBC Introducing night at this month's BBC Electric Proms.

The Reading band will be joined by General Fiasco, Chew Lips and Pull In Emergency when they play at Proud Galleries in Camden, London on Sunday 26 October.

For the first time in its history BBC Electric Proms will take place in two cities. Various venues around London and Liverpool will host the festival from 22-26 October.

Oasis, Burt Bacharach, The Streets and Razorlight are set to headline the event with The Last Shadow Puppets, Chaka Khan, Glasvegas and Sam Sparro also set to appear.
