Bestival 2009 early bird tickets sell out

3,000 passes snapped up in record time

Early bird tickets for the Bestival 2009 have sold out in record time.

Organisers initially put an allocation of 2,000 tickets on sale at midday Friday (12 September), but added an extra 1,000 passes after the first batch sold out so quickly.

All 3,000 early bird tickets were snapped up within seven hours and full price weekend passes are now on sale at £140 each including camping.

Tickets are available to buy HERE or alternatively festival-goers can put down a £50 deposit and pay the remainder of the balance by 28 February 2009.

Bestival 2009 will take place at Robin Hill Country Park, Newport on the Isle of Wight from 11-13 September.
