Franz Ferdinand for Pilton Equinox Party
United Kingdom | |
10 September 2008
Franz Ferdinand, The Ting Tings and The Travelling Band have been lined up for the intimate bash, which is not advertised outside the local area.
The concert is put on for the villagers of Pilton to say thanks for their understanding over the busy Glastonbury Festival weekend.
But there are still a number of tickets left which for the show, which can be snapped
up by anyone with a spare £20.
The Pilton Equinox Party takes place at Worthy
Farm , Pilton, Somerset, on Friday, 19 September, however there is strictly no camping.
Franz Ferdinand provided one of the buzz moments of this year's Glastonbury Festival when they played a surprise gig on the Park Stage. The Ting Tings and The Travelling Band also both played at this year's festival.
Acts to have previously played the long-running Pilton Equinox Party include the Stone Roses, Coldplay, Kasabian and Keane.
Don't go down to Pilton on the off chance you will get in, though. Tickets cost £20 and are only available in advance by making a card purchase from the festival office on 01458 834 596.
