The Last Call festival to see out summer
United Kingdom | |
03 September 2008
The intimate, two-day send off will take place at a secret location in Cumbria over the weekend of 26-27 September.
Basement Jaxx will take to the decks over the weekend and there will also be performances by roots and reggae act T&Latouche and former-Inspiral Carpet Tom Hingley.
Less than 500 tickets are being made available for the mini-festival, which organisers say will feature bonfires, fireworks and many more acts to come.
A statement from organisers Andy Smith and Ben Robinson
said: "We couldn’t let the end of the festival season pass without one last party or call! To celebrate three
years since Kendal Calling was conceived, we are throwing a supped up party for a lucky 499 revellers.
"The
Last Call is a chance to celebrate the end of 2008’s festival season and all the antics that went with it at a secret
location that only the ticket holders will find out about when the Calling Out team feel is right."
