Bestival plan for Winehouse no-show

Rob Da Bank has assured Bestival ticket holders that he has a back-up plan if headliner Amy Winehouse fails to show.

The troubled singer cancelled her appearance at last weekend's Rock En Seine festival in Paris at the last minute, prompting fans to question whether or not she will turn up for the Isle of Wight event.

Winehouse is set to headline the main stage on the Saturday (6 September), but organiser Rob Da Bank has told festival-goers he has a plan B if she fails to show up.

Writing on the official Bestival forums Da Bank wrote: "Regarding Amy, simply, I do not have any more info as of today. I am in contact with her agent and manager and we’ll know what’s happening after the weekend.

“If she can’t do the gig, rest assured I do have a very good back up plan...Have we ever let you down?"
