V Festival 2009 tickets on sale now

The stages are still being dismantled from this weekend's live music extravaganza, but you can book your place for next year's V Festival from 10am today (Tuesday).

The tickets will be priced at 2008 prices - £125 for a weekend pass and £145 for a weekend pass with camping - and are limited to four per person.

V Festival 2009 takes place in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on 22-23 August.

Festival director Simon Moran said: "We're really happy to give fans the chance to buy tickets for next year's festival at this year's prices. With a great line-up every year they are guaranteeing their place at what will be a fantastic festival with a storming line-up, although this year will take some beating! We¹re looking forward to it already."

The first line up announcements for V Festival won't be made until next year when tickets will go back on sale, albeit at a higher price.
