Mancs Get Free Music Festival

Radio 1 are putting on a free dance and rock festival in Manchester for 20,000 punters. Featuring Stereophonics, Badly Drawn Boy, Feeder and Judge Jules and many more, VF has all the details you need to get tickets.

Heaton Park Manchester, May 3-4

Radio 1 are organising a free festival to take place in Manchester on the weekend of May 3-4. One Big Weekend will include a host of top dance and rock acts across the two days.

Taking place in Heaton Park, Manchester, Saturday's line-up includes Judge Jules and Fergie, Eddie Halliwell and Good Greef DJs Rob Tissera, Shan, Alex Kidd and Adam Sheridan. Stereophonics, Badly Drawn Boy, Feeder, The Coral, Aqualung and Dirty Vegas have confirmed for the Sunday (May 4th), with a secret superstar act still to be named.

10,000 tickets will be given away for each day in Manchester's Albert Square. Between 6-9pm on April 18 tickets will be available for the Saturday, whilst on April 25, between 9-12pm you can grab tickets for the Sunday.
