Noah And The Whale added to Get Loaded
United Kingdom | |
04 August 2008
The London band, tipped by many as one of the festival finds of the summer, will play on the main stage alongside the likes of Supergrass, The Hives, Gogol Bordello and headliners Iggy and The Stooges.
Get Loaded's Paul Stix said: "Whereas last year Rhianna gave us her ‘Umbrella’ track and months of rain, it looks like Noah and the Whale are the real reason behind the recent good weather as they sing about “Sun, Sun, Sun all over our bodies” in current single 5 Years Time. Let’s hope so too!"
Get Loaded In The Park takes place at Clapham Common, London, on Sunday 24 August and will also feature sets by The Gossip, Kate Nash, Soulwax and Mylo. Full line up HERE.
Organisers have also just released details of the official Get Loaded after party, which will be held in the Clapham Grand once the festival draws to a close and is cunningly titled Get Loaded In The Dark.
2 Many DJs, Beardyman, Bez, Jon McClure and Streetlife DJs are among those on the bill for what threatens to be a lively end to the bank holiday weekend.
Tickets cost £40 to the festival and £15 for the after party (9pm until 6am) or £50 for the two. Buy HERE.
