Gorillaz Soundsystem to debut at Lovebox Dublin
Cartoon project undercuts Creamfields by a day

Damon Albarn's cartoon project will perform a special DJV set with 360-degree Gorillaz visuals beamed from 20 projectors,
as well as four soundsystem DJs spinning tunes during its festival debut.
The soundsystem was due to showcase at
Creamfields, as part of its tenth anniversary celebrations, but Lovebox Dublin organisers
have secured the audio-visual party experience a day earlier.
Maximo Park, N*E*R*D, Paolo Nutini and Kid
Creole and the Coconuts are also lined up to appear at the one-day festival.
Other names on the bill
include Sam Sparro, Plain White T's,
Filthy Dukes, Das Pop and Leon Jean Marie, with
more to be announced.
Lovebox Dublin 2008 will take place at Marlay Park, Dublin,
Ireland on Saturday 23 August with music on a main stage and two unique arenas. NYC Downlow will also provide
a three-storey film set and there will be a stockade in the woods and an organic food market.
